Combination skin is the most common skin type. It has an imbalanced pH. The pH of normal skin is between 5.5-6.0. On a combination Skin, the T-Zone has a lower pH, along with an oily, shiny skin, occasionally with black heads and pimples. The pH of the cheeks is generally higher; this is combined with a drier, uncomfortable skin.
-Oily parts: generally around the T-Zone often with open pores -black heads – some pimples.
-Dry parts: on the rest of the face – may be sensitive – irritated- lacking comfort.
It is difficult to rebalance the pH of the face . That is why the Moderactive Line has been developed: intelligent self-regulating products to bring pH down to 5.5 – 6.0.
