Description

Hyperpigmentation is a common skin problem, usually benign, that causes a darker colouration in certain areas on the skin. This colouration is due to an abnormal build-up of melanin in a particular area. Hyperpigmentation can affect people of all skin colours (black skin, light skin, Asian skin, etc.) and can be the result of different factors:

- age (people talk of age spots or senile lentigo),
- the sun (brown spots). These dark spots are due to sun exposure and can appear as early as the age of 25 and are not linked to age. They are found on exposed areas (face, neck, décolleté, forearms and the backs of the hands).
- hormonal changes (e.g.: melasma or “pregnancy mask”). These marks are generally very extensive.

How to use

Apply directly to brown spots and other pigmentary imperfections several times a day.

NB: for cases of melasma, consult your dermatologist: the use of this roll-on may not be suitable.
